The Lewis men's baseball team had a six game home stretch from April 10-15. While the pitching was solid, the offense continues to struggle as the Flyers lost five of those six games. Their record fell to 15-21 (3-12 GLVC).

Game one against Kentucky Wesleyan was a well pitched game but the Flyers lost 3-2. Kentucky Wesleyan struck first, getting an RBI single from Jordan White. The Flyers struck next in the seventh, with a one out double from Mike Fedoruk. A groundout by Ryan Wischover got Fedoruk to third and a wild pitch brought him in.

Kentucky Wesleyan followed with two runs in the eighth on RBI singles from Jeremy Kuester and Brannon Pendergraft.

The Flyers got another run in the bottom half of the eighth on a sacrifice fly from Tim Bingham to make it 3-2. They managed to get two guys on in the ninth, but they couldn't get a run in.

Pat Lahey (2-6) pitched well for Lewis, going 7.1 innings, giving up 3 runs (2 ER) and striking out six. However, he didn't get the run support for the win. The offense managed nine hits, but they also left nine men on-base. Mike Vucsko led the Flyer offense, going 2-4 with a double and a run scored. Scott Householder also added two hits as well.

Game two was another pitching battle that the Flyers lost 1-0. Kentucky Wesleyan got their lone run in the first off of an RBI double from Michael Graves scoring Mike Finigan. After that runs were non-existent.

Joe Scumaci (5-3) pitched strong for Lewis only giving up that one run on six hits over seven innings for his sixth complete game of the year. Offensively, the Flyers managed four hits with two coming from Jeffrey Ithal. Chris McCall and Richie Forkin each hit one.

In game three, the Flyers finally got the bats going as they exploded for a 9-3 victory. The Flyers scored first in the second, taking advantage of some sloppy play from Kentucky Wesleyan. Householder led off the second inning by reaching second base on an error in left field by White. After stealing third, Bingham brought him in with a sacrifice fly.
