Being a new group on campus certainly has its challenges. Knowing whether or not you'll get a warm response (or any response for that matter) by students and faculty alike is certainly a qualm any first year group/organization thinks about. But for Lewis' first a cappella group, "Harmonic Uprising," the overall response has been welcomed on campus by students and staff with open arms.
Recording an EP, a full-length album, booking their own tours and playing with national touring acts like Jack's Mannequin, Cartel, Augustana, Motion City Soundtrack and Sum 41, may seem like a lot to achieve in just four short years, but Chicago natives Treaty of Paris have done just that.
During summer break, many movies that are expected to do well in the box office are to be released. From "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," to "Night at the Museum 2," there is a wide variety of movies to see. This summer, however, the three that look the most promising to me are "Wolverine," "Terminator," and "Transformers 2.
