The Lewis men's baseball team had a six game home stretch from April 10-15. While the pitching was solid, the offense continues to struggle as the Flyers lost five of those six games. Their record fell to 15-21 (3-12 GLVC). Game one against Kentucky Wesleyan was a well pitched game but the Flyers lost 3-2.

Senior Jamie Siedlaczek of the women's golf team continues to show excellence on golf courses, but her abilities and accomplishments don't end there. Born and raised in Canton, Mich., Siedlaczek first experienced golf when she was 6 years-old. From then on, there was no stopping her game.
After playing their last 14 games on the road, the Lewis University softball team may have a hard time remembering where to show up for their two home games against Judson on April 23. The team gets a much needed travel rest as they look to cap off the regular season on a high note at home.

Lewis' men's tennis team has garnered its first Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament berth in six years following a win against Quincy on April 17. Squaring off against Quincy, Lewis was carried by redshirt freshmen Uno Lapimaa and Tonis Irdoja, each with two wins in the match against the Hawks.
No team wants to enter its conference tournament without some sort of momentum heading in. After suffering a five set loss to No. 15 Loyola on April 15, the No. 12 Lewis men's volleyball team regained their winning mentality and secured a first round bye in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament with a victory over IPFW on Senior Day (30-26, 30-24, 30-24).
